The SEIMA Board of Directors is pleased to share an important update following the 2025 AGM, where members approved changes to our bylaws and articles.
As part of these updates, our organization is now known as the Saskatchewan Environmental Industry Members Association—a name that reflects our focus on supporting and representing our members.
We are also introducing a simplified membership model. Moving forward, SEIMA will offer a single Individual Membership type with two levels:
Voting Members (standard membership)
Non-Voting Members (student membership)
This new structure simplifies membership, improves communication, and ensures every member is supported and engaged individually. It also clearly defines voting eligibility and opportunities to participate in SEIMA leadership.
What this means for you:
All current memberships concluded on March 31, 2026
A new registration link for Individual Membership will be available May 1, 2026
As an Individual Member, you will:
Receive discounts on all SEIMA events, including SustainTech
Have access to your own account for registrations and renewals
Be eligible to vote at member meetings and run for the Board (Voting Members)
New and Upcoming Member Benefits: We are continuing to enhance the value of SEIMA membership. Over the coming months, members can expect additional benefits, including:
Access to a SEIMA job board featuring industry opportunities
Expanded member discounts and partner offers
Enhanced members-only information, resources, and communications
Exclusive access to SustainTech presentations, including the workshop, from previous years
Additional benefits to be announced as they are developed
Membership Rates:
Voting Membership: $75
Non-Voting (Student) Membership: $50
This new model creates a more consistent and engaging experience for all members and their organizations.
If you have any questions or need assistance during this transition, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Thank you for your continued support of SEIMA.
