SustainTech 2019 – Regulatory Plenary

SustainTech 2019’s Regulatory Plenary will feature the following speakers and topics:

  • A senior official from the Ministry of Environment’s Climate Change Branch on The Management and Reduction of Greenhouse Gases (Standards and Compliance) Regulations (the Regulations). The Regulations have been approved and will be in effect starting January 1, 2019. These regulations achieve the commitments made in Prairie Resilience to reduce emissions intensity at Saskatchewan’s large industrial facilities.
  • Tara Pidborochynski, P.Eng., Manager, Landfills, Environmental Protection Branch, Ministry of Environment on developments in the Province’s landfill programs; and
  • Len Andrychuk, Q.C., Partner, MLT Aikens on the much in the news and discussed Bill C-69, An Act to enact the Impact Assessment Act and the Canadian Energy Regulator Act, to amend the Navigation Protection Act and to make consequential amendments to other Acts
