Membership Definitions & Rates
SEIMA memberships are either voting or non-voting with the
categories divided to reflect relevant segments. The membership
level is defined by the number of employees within the operation.
GST exempt members/applicants must supply their GST number. If you have any question about where you belong as a SEIMA member, please call 306-543-1567.
Applies to any for-profit Canadian company or private individual directly involved in the environmental industry. Companies, individuals and other organizations whose primary activity is providing products, services, and technologies for use in the environmental industry.
Corporate, Organization and Individual (Voting) membership price levels:
- 1 - 2 Employees - $190.00 (plus GST)
- 3 - 7 Employees - $300.00 (plus GST)
- 8 - 12 Employees - $450.00 (plus GST)
- 13 - 30 Employees - $800.00 (plus GST)
- 31 - 50 Employees- $1500.00 (plus GST)
- 51+ Employees - $1750.00 (plus GST)
OR
Government Departments & AgenciesFederal, provincial and municipal government departments or agencies. Educational institutions, university and college departments. The number of employees in the "unit" determines the level of membership.

- 3 - 7 Employees - $300.00
- 8 - 12 Employees - $750.00
- 13 - 30 Employees - $1000.00
- 31 - 50 Employees- $1500.00
- 51+ Employees - $3000.00
Applies to companies, non-governmental, environmental, community organizations, etc.
Companies or organizations that provide products and/or services to SEIMA members, such as equipment suppliers, travel agencies, internet providers, training, accounting and business services.
Other non-governmental organizations or advocacy groups or provide information and programs aimed at any element of environmental stewardship.
Some member-based organizations that fall into this category may be eligible for a reciprocal membership arrangement with SEIMA. If you feel your organization may qualify, please contact the SEIMA office directly for details.- 1 - 2 Employees - $190.00 (plus GST)

Applies to individuals who have retired from active practice in the environmental industry.
Associate (non-voting) membership: $50.00

Applies to students enrolled full-time in a post-secondary educational institution and who are under 29 years of age. Students are eligible for Student Member status for the 12-month period following graduation.
